Originally this was open land for nomads to camp on, but after an unsuccessful riot they were kicked out of the city and the area was turned over to agriculture.  As the city expanded, the fields were gradually built over and now none remain.  This is still where most of the facilities that deal with nomads remain though, showing that memories are old.

It is home to the Grain market, where produce from the farms surrounding Pavis (and inside the Rubble) are brough in daily to be sold.

F-72

The Humakt Temple is a large, 2 storey building on Sword Street in the Farmer's Quarter.  The ground floor consists of two large halls - the southern half is the hiring hall, where mercenary groups will post bills advertising positions available; and the northern half is the training hall.  The upper floor contains the inner shrine of Humakt (there are also altars in the hiring hall and training hall), quarters for resident and visiting Rune-Priests and Rune-Lords, an armoury and treasury, and some smaller practice rooms that can be hired form 1 on 1 instruction.

Derex the Handsome is a Humakti Rune-Lords that offers sword training at the Humakt temple.  Krogar Wolfhelm also teaches sword at the Humakt Temple, despite being an Orlanthi Wind-lord, because the Orlanth Temple has been closed by the Lunar Authorities.
