When Dorasar founded New Pavis, he gave the Yelmalians of nearby Sun County their own quarter, in order to make sure that these capable but insular warriors had a vested interest in the city's success. The Yelmalians still have their quarter, although they did donate the Palace that the Count maintained to the Lunars when they took the city. The Yelmalians still keep themselves to themselves - there are few taverns and no inns in the quarter, and little in the way of entertainment or late night festivity here, although the Uleria Temple is technically in Suntown, albeit right on the edge.

This is the only tavern in Suntown, because most Yelmalians tend not to eat out, but despite this, the clientele is mainly Yelmalians. Non-Yelmalians will get a polite but distant welcome. The food is Sun county, and quite spicy.

Kalf Hadelsin is a Rune-Priest of Gustbran and High Priest of Gustbran in Pavis. He also has one of the largest smithys in Pavis, making bronze weapons and equipment of all kinds. His work (or rather that of his apprentices most of the time) is solid and dependable. The forge opens out onto Gold Court - the entrance from Missile Street is to the living quarters for his family and apprentices.

Hadelsin's will also repair weapons. Each point of damage repaired costs 10L to repair, and takes a day to repair.

Lokarnos is the Yelmalian god of trade, and all trade with Sun County or Suntown has to come through the Lokarnos cult. They maintain their own set of weights and measures, which are different from the Pavis ones, and insist on using their own measures (which is a typical Yelmalian trait). Building up a realtionship with the Lokarnos temple in order to trade with them can take decades.

The temple of the Lady of Fertility is located on the edge of Suntown, although scurrilous rumour is that there is a secret backdoor to it so that the bachelors of Suntown can take advantage of it when their geas permit.
Here you can join in the worship of Uleria in either public or private ceremonies.
