Farnan is a farmer from Pavis County.
Leika is a Humakti initiate who has emigrated to Pavis from Sartar in order to escape Lunar persecution after the failure of Starbrow's rebellion.
In Pavis her Humakti connections have helped her to find employment as a sparring partner, although she is not yet able to become a full swordmaster and resgistered trainer yet. Her small size and slight build lead many to underestimate her as an opponent, but her speed and skill mean that she is now respected in the Humakt Temple. Despite this, she has been unable to find employment in any of the mercenary companies, and so she is surviving from day to day and sleeping in the muster hall of the temple by night.
She can normally be found drinking in Geo's, amongst her fellow Sartarites - she does not yet have the renown to gain entrance to Gimpys. Occasionally the entertainment on offer at Loud Lilina's will tempt her in there as well.
Mirava is a merchant and Initiate of Issaries from Mylagos in Esrolia. She has arrived in New Pavis having followed the trade-way from Esrolia up into Dragon Pass, and then following the caravan route from Swenstown across Prax to Pavis. She is fascinated by new cultures and places, which is why she left Mylagos, but has not forgotten any of her family's astute experience of trading.
She has only been in New Pavis for a few weeks, and is currently staying in the Bristle Inn (P-11).
Yanioth is descended from a line of Eurmal worshippers in Pavis, who have upheld the principles of Eurmal of sticking it to the rich and powerful since Pavis founded the city in 850. When Dorasar founded New Pavis in 1550, your branch of the family moved into the New City, and set to work subverting society there. You learned the ways of Eurmal on your mother’s knee and since you could walk you have been working scams in the back alleys of Pavis. Occasionally the heat gets too much and you can escape into the Rubble, where you still have family in Old Town and the Real City.
